Virtual advertising, available through Durby
In the broadcast of the match on June 2 2026 played by the Romanian national team in Tbilisi against Georgia, Romanian viewers were able to see messages and logos of Romanian companies displayed both on the arena's perimeter advertising system and on the 3D camcarpets advertising.
This was made possible through our company's collaboration with an external partner who used a unique advertising software on the TV feed provided by the hosts, SPboard, which rebroadcasted the transmission in Romania. With this software it is possible to display the partners' spots in the country where the processed feed is broadcast via an overlay.
Durby was the first company to introduce this virtual advertising technology on the Romanian market back in 2013, when the 14 friendly matches of the Brazilian national team were broadcast nationwide during the preparation campaign for the 2014 World Championship. Through this initiative, Durby responded to its partners' requests and expanded the promotional options it makes available to a new segment.
