Start of the 2019-2020 soccer season!
The start of the 2019-2020 soccer season will take place on Saturday, July 6, at "Ilie Oana" Stadium in Ploiești at 20:00, when the Romanian Supercup between champions CFR Cluj and Romania Cup holder FC Viitorul is scheduled to start.
After a short holiday and an equally brief boot camp, the stars of the European Cups gradually return to the pitch for the first leg of the first preliminary round of the UEFA Champions League and the Europa League, then on July 12, the 1st league caravan starts off for with explosive, high-stakes matches in the first two stages, such as FC Viitorul - Dinamo and Dinamo - CSU Craiova.
Less than a month away, on August 4, one of the most interesting editions of the 2nd League will start, one in which legends of Romanian football such as Rapid, Petrolul, U Cluj, UTA , FC Arges or Farul, but also the former teams of Concordia Chiajna, Dunărea Calarasi and Daco-Getica București.
