DSM lends its support to the 6th AFAN Gala
As a consistent supporter of the most important event organized by the Association of Amateur and Non-Amateur Footballers (AFAN) in Romania, DSM was again involved with the organizing team to offer the participants to the event a spectacle to remember.
Now that the AFAN reached its 6th edition, the AFAN 2019 Gala was hosted by the event hall "Le Chateau", bringing together the most prominent figures involved in the Romanian football sports scene and rewarded the performance of the 2018-2019 competitive year as well as excellence in the competitive activity and the services that make football the most loved and popular sport at the moment.
The event benefited from a presentation at a higher level than the previous editions and was transmitted live and exclusively by the TVR HD channel, the list of winners being as follows:
1. The best football player U21 - Ianis Hagi
2. The best football player in 2nd League - Dorin Goga
3. The best football player - Teodora Meluță
4. The best football player - George Țucudean
5. The best foreign football player in the Romanian championship - Harlem Gnohere
6. The best coach - Gheorghe Hagi
7. The best coach in 2nd League - Viorel Moldovan
8. The best club manager - Gheorghe Hagi
9. The best futsal player - Alvaro de Luis Yubero
10. The best referee - Istvan Kovacs
11. Prize for lifetime football career - Daniel Niculae, Răzvan Raț
12. Excellence Award - National Football Team of Romania U21
13. The best journalist - Radu Paraschivescu
14. The best field reporter - Viorel Grigoroiu
15. The best television journalist - Valentin Moraru
16. Best Television Commentator - Marian Olaianos, Emil Hossu-Longin
17. Best "11" - Mirko Pigliacelli, Romario Benzar, Paulo Vinicius, Bogdan Planic, Mario Camora, Alexandru Cicâldău, Ianis Hagi, Dan Nistor, George Țucudean, Dennis Man, Harlem Gnohere
The Association of Amateur and Non-Amateur Footballers of Romania (AFAN) is the trade union organization for both professional and amateur football players in Romania, affiliated internationally to FIFPro, and nationally to the National Trade Union Block, its main purpose being to represent and defend the rights and interests of professional and non-professional footballers, amateurs from the Ist, IInd and IIIrd League and from the lower football leagues, including women's football, futsal, juniors, as well as those of football coaches.
DSM was involved in attracting sponsors, without which the event organization could not have been raised to the highest standards, as the participants had already become accustomed to.
