Alongside Mihaita Nesu
DSM answered the call of George Ogararu in the fund raising event for the recovery needed by Mihai Nesu, a name which requires no further introduction for the wide audience.
The former Steaua and national team player needs a significant financial support in order to carry out the recovery treatment in the United States, required due to his unfortunate accident. The George Ogararu Association for Culture and Sport and CSA Steaua have organized the “Uniti pentru Mihai Nesu” event (Together for Mihai Nesu) at the Polyvalent Hall in Bucharest. The value of tickets sold being directed to the account of the man who has demonstrated an incredible character after the trials he has been put through.
DSM was actively involved in the provision of specific marketing services for such a large-scale event, basically a reunion of the great Steaua family, scheduled for May 9, only a few days away from the celebration of the Seville ’86 event. The Polyvalent Hall event also featured a demonstrative match between Steaua ’86 and the UEFAntastic team of Steaua 2006.
“Going beyond the day to day business, it is our duty, as an active member of society, to support a noble cause such as that of Mihaita Nesu. No matter how tried and tested we are by the uproar life brings us, we cannot forget about our social responsibility. I am happy that the Steaua family has been reunited, as always, for good and for worse, and we are proud to be able to take part in an event for the spirit,” underlined Bobby Durbac, General Manager of Durby Sports Marketing.
