All very good results of Petrolul Ploiesti football team, that have been scored in the last 2 years, can be associated with the image partnership offered by Durby Sports Marketing: promoting to the first league, winning the Romanian Cup and
“European position” ranking this year. Time periods coincide!
The collaboration between Durby and Petrolul started in 2011, when we laid the foundation for modern sports marketing, as we know it today: sponsorships, media rights, venue services, PR & Communication, advertising, hospitality.
Once it promoted to the first league and the “Ilie Oana” stadium was inaugurated in September 2011, Petrolul and DSM started to work and tried to implement all modern sports marketing elements, that have been enumerated beforehand.
This autumn, Durby offered “the yellow wolves”, consultancy services concerning their relationship with UEFA, for the qualifying matches and the play-off of the Europe League.
DSM actively participated at the matches played with Vikingur, Vitesse Arnhem and Swansea. Moreover, Durby Sports Marketing facilitated broadcasting the decisive match with Swansea in the Europe League play-off, on ProTV. DSM was extremely involved in selling TV rights. As far as the perimeter advertising is concerned, DSM contributed to selling the space for FCP, thus the match with Swansea played in Ploiesti, was a real sports and commercial success.
