AFK Csikszereda Miercurea Ciuc, a new partner in League 2
Durby Sports Marketing expanded its list of partnerships with League 2 clubs by starting the collaboration with AFK Csikszereda Miercurea Ciuc, a club that is constantly growing with their reestablishment of the football division of the club in 2010.
Participating in the League 2 play-off, AFK Csikszereda Miercurea Ciuc is one of the clubs built on solid professional foundations, the consistent investment in the academy for children and juniors placing it in second place in the internal hierarchy of these organizations that support the future growth of the Romanian football scene. The club from Harghita is gradually growing at the level of the senior team as well by benefiting from the player resources from its own ranks. For the second time in its 120-year history, AFK Csikszereda qualified for the League 2 play-off, but this season the situation is much different. If in the 2020-2021 edition the team finished in 5th place and missed the promotion hurdle, in the current season the Ciuc players have secured participation in the promotion since four teams out of the 6 qualified in the play-off have secured the right to get promoted. It is a performance that rewards the efforts at this level of the club, which until now won the U19 Elite League in 2021 and played in the UEFA Youth League, then in 2022 it won the Romanian U19 Cup trophy. It is important to mention the fact that 14 of the team members come from the club's academy in the context of qualifying for the League 2 play-off.
Opening its collaboration with the AFK Csikszereda Miercurea Ciuc club, Durby will provide the installation of LED panels for perimeter advertising and will contribute to the creation of an exceptional atmosphere in the campaign in this League 2 play-off.
