Appreciation for the contribution in organizing the World Ice Hockey Championship
2nd Division Group A of World Ice Hockey Championship finished off with a very good result for the Romanian national team, which obtained the long desired qualification in the upper echelon. Aside from the spectacle on ice, we all assisted to a real show in the stands, as well as in the media, show which Durby Sports Marketing contributed to successfully.
Directly involved in organizing the most important event for the 2017 Romanian hockey, DSM was present in Galati not only between 3rd and 9th April when the 15 games between the six participant teams took place (Romania, Spain, Belgium, Serbia, Iceland and Australia), but also during the period prior to the competition to prepare the arena for the big show.
The event host, the skating rink of Galati, benefited of gala attire, the advertising space of the arena being organized with DSM's contribution and also, with the help of the company, live broadcasting of the games on the national TV channel TVR HD was possible, along with the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) broadcastings on the website dedicated for the competition.
All the activity of DSM's team was appreciated by the championship's president, the Slovak Ernest Aljancic, who expressed his thanks at the end of the competition for how the entire logistics package of the event was delivered, for proactiveness, promptitude and quality of the services provided.
During the 7 days when the games took place in Galati, almost 20.000 spectators were present in the skating rink stands, while TVR HD brought millions of viewers closer to the sport with the puck and skates.
