Durby, the partner for derbies
The enormous interest generated by the CSA Steaua – Academia Rapid game, the derby of the Bucharest series of the IVth League represented yet another opportunity for Durby Sports Marketing to prove that its very mission is to facilitate public access to the joys of the sports spectacle and to offer organizations innovative ways to promote their businesses and associate their brand with the excitement of the sports game.
DSM purchased the television rights from the Bucharest Municipal Football Association – AMFB, the organizer of the competition, and signed the contract to broadcast the match that took place on the National Arena with the Digi Sport 1 television channel with an agreement involving CSA Steaua. Moreover, DSM has dealt with providing the perimeter LED display system, including the GoMiLED® system, as well as the publicity for this match.
The event attracted a number of 36.277 spectators, an audience record for a football match in the competitive season 2017-2018 including the Ist League matches as well as all other indoor sports competitions. Additionally, the event was watched by 460.000 viewers with a rating of 2.6% and a 6.5% share, which placed the Digi Sport channel on the 4th place nationwide. Last but not least, on recommendation by DSM, CSA Steaua collaborated with the specialized site bilete.ro for the sale of tickets.
