Joining Farul in the start of the continental campaign
The Romanian champion Farul Constanta makes its debut on Wednesday, July 12th in the 2023-2024 edition of the European inter-club competitions with the match in Ovidiu against Sheriff Tiraspol, counting for the first preliminary round of the UEFA Champions League. As it has done in all the European youth and senior competitions since the debut of the team coached by Gheorghe Hagi 7 years ago in the Europa League preliminaries, the Durby Sports Marketing team will be present and will ensure the exposure of the club's official partners through LED perimeter advertising systems.
The club's European debut took place in the summer of 2016 when the Belgians from Gent were opponents of Hagi's team in the 3rd preliminary round of the Europa League, then a year later followed the double with APOEL in the 3rd preliminary round of the UEFA Champions League and the Europa League play-off against Red Bull Salzburg. In the summer of 2018, the club played in the first two preliminary rounds of the Europa League against Racing FC Luxembourg and Vitesse Arnhem, and in 2019 they met Gent again in the second preliminary round of the Europa League.
