Emotions and joy at the "June 1st" Cup of mini-handball
The June 1st Cup, a mini-handball tournament for the youngest practitioners of this sport on the occasion of the International Children's Day, was organized on Sunday, June 2nd by the CSM Bucuresti handball section with the support of Durby Sports Marketing at Gimnazial School no. 195 "Hamburg".
The tournament was a good opportunity to complete the organizing competition program by the Municipal Handball Association of Bucharest and, at the same time, marked a great game day for children.

The four teams each bearing their coach’s initials, met after the following schedule and the following results were recorded:
CSM C (coach Ionela Cucu) – CSM B (coach Petrica Barbieru) 9:7
CSM N (coach Denisa Nan) – CSM G (coach Clara Geamanu) 5:8
CSM C – CSM N 8:6
CSM B – CSM G 8:6

As the organizing club claims, the tournament is a first step on the way to establishing a tradition, and future editions will invite other teams from both Bucharest as well as the rest of the country to take part.

The passion they put in the game, the emotions and the joy at the end of the tournament are experiences that any parent enjoys to see on the face of his children. This tour is a reward for the diligent work of the young handball players, working diligently throughout the year, and an opportunity to make them feel that no matter what the outcome, their effort is recognized and encouraged", said Bobby Durbac, Durby's Managing Director Sports Marketing.
This activity of DSM is part of the company's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects, launched in January 2012 with the involvement in the charity event "Sport, Generosity, Hope" organized the fundraising for Kassandra Rotariu and happened again in May 2013. Between 2014 and 2016, the anniversary events of the European Cup win by Steaua Bucharest, the start of the Hall of Fame Hall of Fame project of the Steaua Bucharest basketball team in the autumn of 2015 followed between 2014 and 2016, the involvement in 2016 and 2018 of the well-known events "United for Mihăiţă Neșu!” in Bucharest and Oradea, as well as in the organization of charity events and a mini-football tournament together with the Young Tigers Club in 2016 and 2017.
