A new milestone in European handball competitions
SCM Ramnicu Valcea reaches again an important milestone in its European course and will play on Sunday, March 27 in the round of the quarterfinals of the EHF European League. Hosted by the "Traian" Hall, the match against the Danish team Herning-Ikast Handbold will be a new premiere for Durby Sports Marketing, present at this level of the second continental inter-club competition of women's handball. Along with the emblematic Romanian women's handball club in the domestic championship and throughout its course in European competitions starting with the 2019-2020 season, DSM will provide the most modern installation in the country for perimeter advertising with LED technology for indoor sports.
After writing history with CSM Bucuresti in the first round of the 100% Romanian finals of the DELO EHF Champions League competition-queen last spring, the Valcea team will play in the quarterfinals of the EHF European League with the desire to step into the Final Four tournament of the competition. This tournament was hosted last year by Minaur Baia Mare, a team that is also present in the quarterfinals.
Therefore, it is possible that this will be the last match that the players prepared by the Norwegian Bent Dahl will play in front of their own fans in this edition of EHF European League. In case of a much desired qualification, it is equally possible that the team from Vâlcea will receive the right to organize the final phase of the competition.
In recent years, DSM has gained consistent experience in providing services for indoor sports events, and through its advertising equipment, contributed to obtaining a special visual impact in the arenas where sports shows take place. The installation successfully meets the current norms imposed by the European sports federations for matches that are played indoors - handball, volleyball, basketball, etc. - and, moreover, will be compatible with their future, more restrictive requirements.
"The consistency in pursuing the objectives and the professionalism of the club led to a new outstanding performance of Vâlcea handball. We thank the SCM Râmnicu Vâlcea club for the trust they granted in us and we wish them every success in qualifying for the Final Four tournament! ” said Bobby Durbac, CEO of Durby Sports Marketing.
