A new premiere in women's football: supporting Farul at their debut in the UEFA Women's Champions League
Present at the first match of the women's national team in Bucharest, Romania - Switzerland in the qualification campaign for the 2023 World Cup, hosted on the "Arcul de Triumf" stadium, Durby Sports Marketing continues to contribute to premier events for Romanian sports. Our specialists will stand by the women's team of Farului Constanța at its debut in the UEFA Women's Champions League. The champion team of Romania will organize the mini-tournament of group 11 on the path of championship and on the dates of September 4 and 7 it will be the host of the game KFF Mitrovica (Kosovo) - Farul Constanța and whichever team will oppose the Norwegian team Vålerenga Fotball before the winner of the first match, respectively.
This group is part of the preliminary round 1, one of two rounds before the 16-team group stage that starts in October. The preliminary phase of the competition is divided into two paths: the champion path and the league path. At any rate, Round 1 will consist of two legs, with each of the single-elimination matches being played in single-place mini-tournaments, with the semi-finals on September 4 and the third-place final/play-off on September 7.
The Durby Sports Marketing team will be present and through the perimeter LED advertising systems will ensure the visibility of the official partners of the most important inter-club continental competition.
The European debut of the club took place in the summer of 2016 when the Belgians from Gent were opponents of Hagi's students in the 3rd preliminary round of the European League, then a year later followed the double with APOEL in the 3rd preliminary round of the UEFA Champions League and the dispute with Red Bull Salzburg from the European League play-off.
In the summer of 2018, the club played in the first two preliminary rounds of the European League against Racing FC Luxemburg and Vitesse Arnhem respectively, so that in 2019 they will meet Gent again in the 2nd preliminary round of the European League. In 2023 Farul Constanta played in the first preliminary round of the UEFA Champions League against Sheriff Tiraspol.
"Just like 7 years ago, when I was with Viitorul on their debut in the UEFA Champions League preliminaries, I gladly answered the call to stand with them at a new premiere for the club with whom I had such a close collaboration over the years. We have accumulated the necessary experience and are ready to perform at the highest level", said Bobby Durbac, general manager of Durby Sports Marketing.
