DSM signs a partnership with the ice hockey team, Sportul Studentesc Bucuresti
Durby Sports Marketing and the ice hockey section of CS Sportul Studentesc Bucuresti have signed a partnership. DSM will be involved in promoting the hockey players from Sportul Studentesc team, playing in the National League. The hockey players’ situation is a very special one, as they do not have any training conditions and official events organized in Bucharest, as the ”Mihail Flamaropol” Skating Rink is an arena with no ice.
Sportul Studentesc Team, the last position (6th) in the 2013-2014 championship, does not have a professional team. The team players have a different job. After work, they train on land. In order to play official games, they have to take a vacation or a few days off.
Sportul Studentesc Team, trained by Ioan Martin and Cristian Daia, promote all authentic values of the puck-and-stick sport. Despite the difficult financial conditions, their efforts represent a victory.
Therefore, DSM supports this team by providing them with marketing, advertising and PR services.
Sportul Studentesc Team has had an uninterrupted activity since the founding of ice hockey section.
The highest performance is the national championship silver medal, 1995-1996 edition, winning the Romanian Cup in 1995 and the Balkan Cup final in 1996.
