A spectacular show and a new DSM premiere
A new sport-spectacle is gaining ground in Romania, and the organization of a continental competition in our country contributes to its popularization.
Teqball, the fastest growing sport in the world, is a football-based sport played on a specially curved table (Teq table), which attracts a new generation of amateur athletes and enthusiasts (teqers), whose ambition is to develop technical skills, concentration and resistance. The most important Teqball competition organized so far in Romania took place from Friday, April 29 to Sunday, May 1, in the Sports Hall in Targu Mures. During this event, the first sports base dedicated exclusively to Teqball was inaugurated on Saturday, April 30, in the Muresul Complex; the event took place in the presence of representatives of the International Teqball Federation and the Romanian Ministry of Sports. This demonstrates the importance that the authorities attribute to this spectacular sport that appeals to the public.
The second stage of the European Teqball Tour 2022 brought together in Targu Mures the best Teqball players of the continent, who competed for total prizes worth 30,000 dollars, in the men’s’ doubles and mixed doubles events.
Durby Sports Marketing was present at this premiere, the first Teqball competition organized in our country.
