DSM Supports the Organization of the Women’s Epee European Cup
For the third consecutive year, the European Fencing Confederation granted Romania the right to organize the Women’s Epee European Cup, sporting event of great importance bringing together eight clubs winners of their national championships.
Last year’s silver medalist in the company of Bourg la Reine French team and winner of the national title in 2015, CSA Steaua Bucuresti will be the host of the competition to take place in the “Mihai Viteazu” Guard Regiment center in the Capital, on May 8, a competition which will rally at the start another seven prestigious European clubs: SVSM Kiev (Ukraine), Fiamme Gialle (Italy), Hapoel Akko Romach Abirim (Israel), Chisinau Fencing School (Republic of Moldova), A.O.X. EGALEO 199 (Greece), Escalibur Fencing Club (Bulgaria) and CSU Poli Timisoara.
The constant supporter of Romanian sporting performances, Durby Sports Marketing was actively involved, as during the previous editions, in the organization of this event through marketing activities and related services for the Steaua Bucuresti Army Sports Club and the Romanian Fencing Federation.
“The fact that the continental forum entrusted the task of organizing such event for the third year in a row to the Steaua Bucuresti Army Sports Club and the specialized federation should act as an eloquent clue on the manner in which the Romanian athletes and organizers are perceived in Europe. We are glad to have been able to be close and to contribute to another successful edition, appreciated by the European Fencing Confederation,” stated Bobby Durbac, General Manager of Durby Sports Marketing.
